Cabot 4th of July Celebration

The Annual 4th of July celebration in Cabot, started more than 50 years ago, and each year has provided ample opportunity for community-building, celebration and fundraising. Traditional activities include the parade, rummage sale, book sale and open house at the Cabot Historical Society.

The parade, organized by the Cabot Fire Department, includes the usual array of entries including the giant puppets, horses, tractors, fire trucks and emergency rigs, musical performers, Cabot residents of note and more.

Community judges will score parade entries to award cash prizes to the entries chosen in the following categories:

Cheesiest, most Historic, most Patriotic and Judge’s Choice.

All parade participants are required to fill out the parade registration form.

Parade participants are requested to pre-register for the parade.

Parade rules and registration forms are available using the button below or at the Cabot Fire Department on parade day.

The Cabot 4th of July Committee is a group of dedicated volunteers and business owners organized with support from the Cabot Community Association and funded through donations and sponsorships. The Cabot 4th of July Celebration would not occur without the support of The Town of Cabot.
