Cabot has ample outdoor recreation resources for the community to enjoy!

Cabot Trails

Get out for a nice walk on the Cabot Trails! Multiple landowners and volunteers have created an extensive network of multi-use trails for everyone to enjoy.

Biking

Cabot boasts some of the finest gravel-grinder rides in the state, with steep climbs and awesome views.
​Join us in September for Ride the Ridges, an excellent day of biking and food on your choice of 10K, 30K, 60K, or 100K routes.
Looking for more level terrain? Check out the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail and Cross Vermont Trail.

Winter Recreation

The Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST) Trail and Lamoille Valley Rail Trail are open to snow machines, skiers, and snowshoers.
Cabot Trails are open to non-motorized travel, and make great winter outings.

Playgrounds / Pavilion / Fields

​A preschool playground is located behind the Willey Building on Main Street. The Cabot Public Library is also located in the Willey Building; make it a fun preschool day with Story Hour, and playground time!
The Cabot Recreation Field is located on South Walden Road, with a sports field, basketball court, playground, and pavilion. The pavilion is available first-come-first serve, or as rental withan assortment of sports & games equipment included.
